View 815 Answers Well, I celebrate different holidays now. When I was a kid I celebrated Christmas, and I really loved the decorations and the tree and getting presents. Now I celebrate Channukah and I generally try to keep it low-key, though I do buy presents for my daughter. And I usually offer to work on Christmas if I'm not scheduled on, both for the extra pay and so someone who actually celebrates it can take it off. (I work in a nursing home.)
